FRANKLIN-C-5000 Forestry Machine
With attached FECON -BH -120 Tree Shredder

This 1996 Model is the same as the present Franklin model #4950

Has about 6500 hours on engine and frame. Has about 1500 hours on Fecon head

Just had complete service-- repair and replacement on following:

Has ZERO HOURS on: New engine radiator --New fuel injector pumps--New Fecon head hydraulic cylinder - New tilt arm cylinders - Rebuilt Hydraulic drive pum - Re-sealed steering pump--Resealed lift Resealed tilt pumps - Re-built skid shoes on Fecon head - All New fluid filters and refilled with 110 gallons of new hydraulic fluid.

Has 100 hours on New air conditioner compressor and 130 hours on New Fecon Head bearings. Tires good at 65-70%. Fecon Shredders Carbide teeth are good at 75%.

This machine is very good shape with all maintenance work always performed as per manual schedules. Machine has just been completely gone through at Franklin dealership and all systems have been checked and serviced. Comes with many spare service parts, belts, and hoses.

New machines are presently priced at about $225,000 to $245,000.

2005 Hydro-Ax --Model 421-E Forestry Machine

With Fecon HD-120 Tree Shredder

Hydro-Ax Forestry Machine was purchased new for specific project which is now completed.

Machine has 778 hours on it. Has always been run easy and fully serviced as per Factory schedules. This is a clean machine.

185 HP Cummins 6 BTA 5.9 diesel is perfect. Has new style full- tilt service cab, AC and heat, radio-cassette stereo, special comfort operator seat, work lights, quick hitch system, counterweight package, and hydraulic winch and cable. Forestry tires are at 90%.

Fecon HD-120 Tree Shredder with 778 hours-- has 48 Carbide teeth on balanced rotor. Head has optional hydraulic push bar and hydraulic mulch door. Has quick disconnect fittings. Carbide teeth are at about 70-75%. Zero hours on new Fecon Head Bearings. Head just repainted and in very good condition.

This machine has just returned from Service Center and has been completely gone through with all systems checked and serviced.

This Hydro-Ax is very agile --tight turning--and high reaching--can drive up to trees of any height-- with 12-14 inch trunks-- grind down and shred into mulch in mere minutes--- Will take down and mulch larger 18-20 inch trunks - just takes a little longer---Super solid machine that is quiet and comfortable to operate. Machine shows like new.
